Panasonic ET60B: IPS, 600Hz, good black level, 3D passive, ...

The Panasonic ET60 is a 2013 model, will be available in stores during 2013 and 2014. This model replaces the model ET50 of 2012 and it offers better black level. This is a mid-range model with passive 3D and SmartTV. This model has a IPS panel with a 600Hz BLS for better viewing fast moving images. The SmartTV of this model is lower than the top models because the browser doesn't include flash. The Panasonic ET60 isn't full equip doesn't include USB-HDD recording, has a single tuner DVB-T/T2 and it haven't satellite tuner. Regarding the image quality, the IPS panel offers good viewing angle and a good black level. The input lag (measured by hdtvtest.co.uk) is about 34 ms.

It is a TV with Super Narrow Bezel design of Panasonic. The light-colored rectangular base of very elegant and it has only 3.2 cm deep.

Conclusion (verdict):

The Panasonic TX-ET60 is a midrange television, more than enough for a regular user. While riding a Panasonic IPS panel on this TV, get decent black levels. This is very important for TV viewing in dim light. It offering passive 3D and includes 2x 3D glasses, 3D converter 2D, ...
This is a TV with a few extras, hasn't voice control or the "Touch Pad Controller". One of the things we least like about this TV is that the browser doesn't include support for Flash, in our opinion a browser SmartTV without flash is a bad SmartTV.
